Inaugural Energy Professional Symposium

Not-for-profit organisation International Energy Centre is inviting participants to the inaugural Energy Professional Symposium - an energy-focused conference which offers a suite of professional development opportunities designed to keep attendees’ businesses robust and create new opportunities.

The event will be held from 14-18 October at the Rendezvous Grand Hotel, Melbourne. Not only is it designed to keep attendees up to date with the latest trends, technologies and practices, but the symposium will also provide an interactive forum where participants can present and discuss their real-life challenges.

The five-day program offers seven courses, each of which is taught by industry practitioners and world-class academics. The program incorporates all aspects of the energy landscape, including science, community, industry, business policy and governance:

  • Water and Energy Management: 14-15 October
  • Energy Efficiency: 14-15 October
  • Energy and Nutrient - the A to Z of biogas: 14-16 October
  • Carbon Management Master Class: 16-18 October
  • Demand Management: 16 October
  • Energy Principles, Technologies and the Low Carbon Economy: 16-17 October
  • Electricity Pricing, Energy Economics and the National Electricity Market: 17-18 October

With a diverse and interesting program, the symposium accommodates a variety of professionals, be it executives, managers, technical personnel or policymakers.
