Polibrid elastomeric polyurethane coating solution

Polibrid 705E is a flexible coating designed to protect concrete and steel in chemical, abrasion and high-impact environments, as well as for encapsulation of rivets, bolts, edges and other surface imperfections.

The Polibrid 705E + geotextile system can be applied to wastewater treatment inlet works to repair concrete sewage holding tanks and treatment structures, coating the inlet works odour-control covers to encapsulate H2S gases.

Despite its corrosive exposure, the lining system has been designed to provide good long-term performance, without any major maintenance required or breakdowns.

The product’s properties make it a good solution for immersion applications in highly corrosive primary and secondary containment environments including wastewater treatment plants; clarifier tanks, lift stations, penstocks and channels; concrete and steel potable water tanks; dam gates, manhole pits and pipelines; steel-bolted tanks; encapsulation of rivets, bolts, edges and other surface imperfections; and chemical storage bunds.

Product features: solvent-free, with zero VOC; high film thickness in a single coat (5 mm + if required); fast and low-temperature curing; low moisture transmission rate; flexible, elastic, crack resistant; impact, abrasion and chemical resistant; suitable for steel and concrete substrates; applied by plural component spray (2:1 mix ratio).
