USB charger for battery

Wednesday, 23 January, 2008 | Supplied by: Sanyo Oceania Pty Ltd

Sanyo has expanded its eneloop rechargeable battery range with the launch of a USB charger set, the NCMDU01, which allows users to charge the batteries via a USB port commonly found on personal computers and laptops.

The ability to charge from a USB port allows users to quickly and conveniently charge batteries. The charger is lightweight and easy to carry, with the lead neatly fitting into the charger unit.

The battery can be used straight off the shelf and can be recharged up to 1000 times, reducing the 8000 t of batteries that end up as landfill in Australia each year.

The eneloop rechargeable battery range now has packaging which is fully recyclable and includes more information about the battery and its uses.
