Remote clean water and electricity supply

Trunz Water Systems provide clean drinking water and generate electricity using solar and wind power, for disaster relief and to secure community infrastructure in remote regions without mains electric power and a clean water supply.

The modular systems are supplied complete and ready to deploy. Easily installed, the systems are ready to operate in less than an hour after arrival on site. Each system produces up to 20,000 L/day of potable water from polluted bores, lakes, rivers and lagoons. Systems are easily relocated and their small size and weight can be carried by trailer, truck, boat or helicopter into virtually any area.

A number of modules operating together can provide enough drinking water for schools, tourist resorts and small communities, especially in remote areas and as well produce 220 V electric power for refrigerators, TVs, computers and lighting. Small wind turbines and solar photovoltaic arrays provide power 24 h a day either direct, or via batteries.

Trunz also supplies solar and/or wind-powered desalination systems that will provide up to 7000 L/day of drinking water from any brackish or salt water source. These too can be combined to supply larger communities with both potable water and electric power.

Operating costs are low and maintenance simple and inexpensive - it even cleans its own filters. On-site personnel can be easily trained to operate and maintain the systems.

The systems are being used to supply clean drinking water to developing countries in Africa, South America and Asia and for disaster relief following earthquakes, tsunamis and floods.
