Multiparameter water quality probe

Thursday, 22 February, 2007 | Supplied by: Kenelec Scientific Pty Ltd

The Manta from Eureka Environmental is a multiparameter water quality probe that incorporates advanced electronic components and mechanical innovation. The Amphibian field display can be attached to the Manta to give users PC power in the field. Users can quickly download data from logging instruments; view and analyse live data; add templates; and transfer data back to a PC and automatically save it as an Excel file.

The Manta is built to withstand the harshest of field conditions and has features including: short, stubby sensors to improve reliability and reduce calibration; visible LEDs on the circuit board to provide instant operational information; snap-on DO membranes; a detachable Cable-Lock system that is prongless and pinless to increase reliability; a waterproof unit that displays and records live data, and supports users' own field templates; and all units have built-in memory to easily switch between logging and profiling.

The probe with temperature, conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen and turbity provides a complete monitoring system.
