Corroquip has released a range of sacrificial anodes designed to arrest corrosion of industrial plant and equipment. They can minimise costly down time and premature failure of critical components in the water treatment, process control, mining, petrochemical and marine industries.
Almost any steel structure surrounded by water can be protected (including bore/river/sea/recycled/potable waters). Corrosion between dissimilar metals can be greatly reduced, and damaged coatings are no longer a source of rapid 'pinhole' pitting. They do not involve the use of any hazardous chemicals or solvents.
A range of sizes and alloys is available to suit applications including: hot and cold water tanks, marine and wastewater infrastructure, pipelines, pumps, cooling towers and condensers.
