The Crispin Rubber Flapper Check Valve provides full pipe flow, low head loss and is maintenance free.
With a flow area equal to or greater than the nominal pipe diameter, the valve is suitable for sewage or solids handling applications. It is supplied standard with a ductile iron body; the flapper is steel reinforced Buna-N. Other materials are available, including rubber lining, for particularly harsh or abrasive services.
The body has full corrosion allowances and is epoxy coated. The steel reinforcing in the flapper is over engineered to provide good strength, while the 45° angled seat not only offers a smaller stroke than most check valves, thereby reducing slamming, it also allows the valve to be installed in both vertical and horizontal applications.
