The George Fischer (GF) range of actuators - from the EA11 starter model to the fully equipped EA42 - is designed to meet the needs of the water and wastewater industry.
The EA11 forms the basis of the series. The electric actuator EA series modular design can be configured specifically for user applications. For example, users can choose to fit the actuators with two additional limit switches for end position indication or a fail-safe return with built-in battery that moves the valve into the defined safety position.
The actuator status can be transmitted directly to the control station. This extra measure of safety is warranted by the integrated, isolated ready-for-operation notification, which is mandatory for EA21 models and higher.
The range of accessories available in the EA21 and higher models, such as the EA31 and EA42, are cycle time extension, cycle time monitoring, cycle counter, motor current monitoring, position signalisation and a positioner.
The actuators are characterised by technical details with the number of cycles being high. All actuators are equipped with an integrated emergency manual override as a standard and they include a robust gear mechanism and fibreglass reinforced plastic housing.
