Registration open for National Manufacturing Week 2015
Registration for this year’s National Manufacturing Week (NMW 2015), to be held from 26-29 May in Melbourne, is now open. The manufacturing industry event will provide an exhibition, presentations, networking opportunities and live demonstrations to help attendees at all levels, from all sectors of industry, gain new ideas for innovating, collaborating and building competitive strengths.
More than 120 companies - including BOC, BAC Systems, Lincoln Electric, BOSCH, Klingspor, Supagas, Stratasys and Telstra - have already confirmed their participation, with many set to take part in the interactive demonstrations running on the exhibition floor. The event will also house a dedicated CleanTech Product Zone, focusing on innovative products, processes and services helping manufacturers become more sustainable.
The conference program will feature world-class speakers sharing their expertise and leading discussions in two zones: the R&D and Digital theatres. The R&D program focuses on innovation and bringing new ideas to market, with sessions from Phil Timbrell of Preformed Line Products, Dr John Blakemore and Mark Steiner, MD Techome and Hetech. Complementary sessions in the Digital Hub will present RMIT University’s Gretchen Wilkins and Ian Nazareth profiling the ‘Future Factory’ and Enhar’s Trent Hawkins speaking on ‘Increasing Productivity’.
The event will be co-located with Austech, the SMART Supply Chain & Logistics Conference and the Safety First Conference & Expo. For more information, registration and to build your event timetable, visit www.nationalmanufacturingweek.com.au.
