Straub repair clamp

Tuesday, 18 December, 2007 | Supplied by: KCES Pty Ltd

The Straub-Clamp is used for the safe, reliable repair of gas, water and drainage pipes made from a range of materials (steels, cast iron, ductile, iron, fibre cement, GRP, PE, PP, ABS, PVC).

Suitable for sealing damaged pipes, the clamps are available in complete one or two-piece units made from stainless steel (316L) and standard NBR sealing sleeve.

The clamps provide a high level of corrosion resistance and feature stainless steel screws that are coated with Delta Seal to ensure smooth tightening to the specified torque. The large-surface waffle profile reduces the required tightening torque, extending the life of the rubber.

Used for repairing large damaged areas up to 250 mm long, the repair clamp is easy to fit with a hexagonal socket without extensions. The clamp contains no loose screws or parts and does not require dismantling therefore avoiding lost parts on installation. Integrated ergonomic hand grips make handling easier.

Sizes range from DN40 to DN400 with each size (OD) spanning a wide range (up to 20 mm).
