Elis Plzen's FL1024 with integral display and FL1025 with remote display are primarily intended for industrial and commercial applications in water supply systems, where they provide measurement and data storage of instantaneous flow rates and average water consumption.

The ultrasonic flowmeters are noted for their accuracy and long-term stability over a wide range of measurement values. The Flomic flowmeters do not require any external power source, have no moving parts and offer very low pressure losses. The electronics of these flowmeters allow for the measurement and display of instantaneous flow rate and of the total volume of flow since it was reset the last time. The flow data measured at preset intervals can also be stored and transmitted via an optical interface to a portable PSION, where the data can be retrieved. The flowmeters also include impulse outputs as standard and current (4-20 mA) outputs and M-Bus communications as options.
