The Aussie Pumps portable hydrostatic tester, Aussie BB100HTP, can detect leaks and check the integrity of water pipes.

The 100 bar (1400 psi) electric machine comes in a compact design and is useful for maintenance in processing plants, beverage factories and waterworks where leakage from bad joints, corroded pipes or leaking valves can cause costly damage.

The tester consists of a high-pressure triplex pump and is powered by a heavy-duty, 2.2 kW, 4-pole, single-phase electric motor. The machine also features a double-gauge and double-valve system that enables the pressure to be locked off in the line after pressurisation. Both the pump and line pressures can be monitored continuously and simultaneously.

The testers are also equipped with a pressure regulation valve that is variable so the user can set the required pressure. The user can lock off the valves once the system has reached the testing pressure, which will isolate the test piece. After a mandatory period of static test, the user can then see if pressure has been maintained.

The product comes fitted with safety valves that protect both the machine and operator in the event of an accidental pressure spike. The machine also has other uses including hydro testing boilers, pressure vessels, pumps, valves or fire mains.
