AMS Water Metering Qalcosonic W1 ultrasonic water meter
The Qalcosonic W1 water meter from AMS Water Metering has received approval from the National Measurement Institute (NMI). The NMI certificate of approval marks a significant step forward in supplying the smart water meters to the Australian market.
Using a static method to measure hot and cold water consumption, the unit has no moving parts and is sensitive to low flows, down to 1 L/h.
The unit eliminates measuring deviations caused by sand, suspended particles or air pockets and features 9 digits, multi-line LCD, and total volume and instantaneous flow rate indication. It is IoT and AMR, NFC, LoRa technology ready.
The NMI certificate approval number for the Qalcosonic W1 water meter is NMI 14/3/43.
