'US' - Utility Services alliance announced
South East Water, Thiess Services and Siemens have entered a new strategic alliance known as 'us' - Utility Services.
Thiess Services and Siemens have worked as contractors alongside South East Water for more than a decade on water and wastewater operations, maintenance, asset management, and design and construction services.
The alliance will drive further opportunities to improve service performance for South East Water's 1.3 million customers and also act as a springboard for external growth potential.
'us' - Utility Services will undertake civil, mechanical and electrical maintenance, construction services, operations and controls and innovative product solutions.
The alliance members have already begun work developing and promoting innovative acoustic leak detection and new pipeline relining technology, creating substantial time and cost savings for domestic service repairs as well as avoiding the need to dig trenches to access faulty pipes.
The mission for 'us' is to build a local and global reputation through the development of productive business partnerships and for the alliance to set a new benchmark in Australia.
