Pump/pressure system selection guide
Davey Water Products has released Issue No 15 of its comprehensive Product Selection Guide.
The 54 page guide is designed to assist with the easy selection of a pump or pressure system for rural, industrial or household water needs.
The guide includes chapters devoted to electric and engine powdered pumps, borehole pumps of all types and capacities, multistage pumps, industrial, effluent and sump pumps, aquaculture and swimming pool pumps, peripheral turbine and pond pumps, and rainwater harvesting pumps.
The guide concludes with a pump requirements questionnaire which will enable the selection of the right pump for the task at hand to be determined.
There is also a section devoted to 'useful information' including typical water requirements for farm or domestic needs, calculating suction lift and pump power and understanding pipe friction.
