Wastewater company EWT marks strong growth with name change Down Under
AJM Environmental Services (AJM), specialist provider of wastewater treatment solutions in Australia, has formally changed its name to Eimco Water Technologies Pty Ltd (EWT). AJM became part of the EWT group in March 2008 and, after a two-year integration process, its new name became official on 1 April 2010.
EWT is one of the world’s leading water treatment groups, with offices in more than 30 countries and 2350 employees worldwide. It is strongly expanding its activities in Australia through the Sydney-based company, which has a team that has grown from around 40 members at acquisition to more than 70 members today, with offices throughout Australia and New Zealand and sales agents in South-East Asia.
Founding Director of AJM Adrian Minshull said that the change was “very positive” for the company’s clients. “This is an incredibly exciting and positive move, through which we will now be able to fully leverage the global footprint of EWT and offer the diverse range of EWT products and technologically superior solutions to our customers. We are very proud to be part of a financially strong global group with access to expertise and technical skills from all over the world, which in turn provides us with more solutions to assist the Australian industry,” he said.
Founded in 1999, AJM has primarily tailored its business to the food and beverage industry. The integrated company is one of Australia's leading providers of wastewater/water re-use technology into the food and beverage market, as well as specialising in the design, manufacture and construction of industrial, energy, oil industry and infrastructure plants for wastewater treatment, potable water treatment and sludge dewatering.
