Spilldoktor bunded shelving

Many industries store a host of smaller containers, ranging from paint and lubricants to agricultural chemicals - mostly these are not dangerous chemicals and are simply stored on conventional shelves or in cabinets of some kind. According to Aquasol, what many companies may not be aware of is that one common EPA regulation applies to all liquids - “all liquid apart from stormwater must be bunded”.

Historically, it has been a costly exercise to bund containers because the options were limited to using trays on the floor or on each shelf, or safety cabinets (which are necessary for dangerous goods).

Spilldoktor has released its new-look bunded shelving, which is designed to offer a cost-effective and compliant storage method for a range of liquids. The units come in kit form for quick and simple assembly, and are available in two sizes: single- and double-depth shelving.

The units lend themselves to decanting chores such as those associated with detergents, oils, chemicals, etc - as the base tray projects around the footprint of the shelving unit, offering protection from accidental leaks and spills.

Perforated heavy-duty ABS shelving ensures spilt liquids do not pool but end up safely on the poly tray at the bottom.
