Solution for hazardous solid wastes

Evashred Shredders has an updated range of mobile shredders and accessories to improve the automation during hazardous waste collection. At the centre of its technology is its EV60C Shredder. A range of accessories to automate pick-up and handling for the operator/driver is also available.

Items such as raising platforms, weigh scales, bin lifters, sorting conveyors, sorting tables, interlocked hoppers, magnetic separators, auger compactors, walking floors, conveyor floors, tipping rear compartments, fluid drainage tanks, after shredding product separation, all add up to significantly reducing the handling of the hazardous waste stream and increasing the amount of pre-processing that occurs during transit.

By the time the operator is back at base, all the items which were safely collected have been shredded, and any toxic or dangerous liquids have been drip separated into a secure holding tank.

Take, for example, plastic oil drums and metal oil filters containing residual toxic oil. With the same truck, the operator can pick up, shred and drain the waste oil from all the items and keep plastics and metals separate. When s/he gets back to base, s/he tips the rear compartment to evacuate the oil, plastic and steel separately.

Evashred uses the same technology for its mobile tyre shredders. There is a large variety of other hazardous wastes which can be picked up and pre-processed in a similar manner.

Space saving, less handling for the operator, pre-processing and separation during transit are among the benefits on offer.
