dataTaker DT80M Intelligent Data Logger

Available to rent, the dataTaker DT80M Intelligent Data Logger is a low-power, stand-alone unit with extensive communication capabilities.

It connects to sensors which support measurement of temperature, voltage, current, 4-20 mA loops, resistance, bridges, strain gauges, frequency and digital and SDI-12.

Configured via web browser, using dataTaker’s dEX graphical interface, users have access to a range of configuration options and an in-built 2G/3G modem allows the logger to be reconfigured remotely.

Automatic data delivery features allow users to schedule data to be automatically emailed to specified inboxes at preset time intervals. Alarm conditions trigger data delivery or alarm messages to multiple email addresses or mobile phones.

Data may also be sent via FTP server and users can view real-time measurements or logged data via the in-built web interface.

The DT80M recognises incomplete downloads and will try again until the entire data file is transmitted, ensuring no lost data. If the network drops out, the modem automatically reconnects before the next scheduled transmission. If the mobile network has marginal coverage, it will scan for alternative networks and select the strongest signal.

The DT80M is suitable for a wide range of remote applications including agriculture, weather stations, hydropower and other outdoor projects.
