Lindner Recyclingtech Universo 2200 shredders

The Universo 2200 shredders from Lindner Recyclingtech have introduced a new level of productivity in waste recovery for two Australian companies.

Universo 220 Lindner Power Shredders - capable of shredding plastic film; packaging materials; textiles, paper, rubber, waste wood; pallets; paper rolls; cable reels and mixed plastics - have been installed by Martogg Group of Companies, Minto, NSW and Plastic Granulation Services of SA for plastic recycling.

The slow-running, single-shaft shredders have a throughput capacity of up to 7 tonnes/h with output granulation of approximately 80 mm.

Lindner systems are used in areas such as industrial, commercial and domestic resource recovery from waste as well as large-scale RFD plants for cement and steel industries and power stations. Shredders with throughputs from less than one tonne/h up to 50 tonnes are available.
