Monday, 13 July, 2009

The Queensland government, in conjunction with the south-east Queensland water entities SEQ Water Grid Manager, Seqwater, WaterSecure and LinkWater, is partnering with the Australian Water Association (AWA) to present Ozwater′10.

Thousands of water sector professionals, researchers, consultants and environmental experts will gather in Brisbane from 8–10 March 2010 to profile the projects, technologies and practices that will feature in an increasingly challenging and demanding era of water management.

Delegates to Ozwater′10 will have the opportunity to see the South East Queensland Water Grid, including the third-largest recycled water scheme designed for indirect potable reuse (IPR) in the world. Leading edge approaches to water resource planning, provisions for environmental flows and the implementation of successful demand management campaigns will also feature prominently throughout the conference.

Major local and international organisations, utilities, environment and resource agencies and groups from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the US will be represented in these discussions and also provide international experience and perspectives.
