New environmental grants book for 2006 released

Wednesday, 25 January, 2006

Environmental consultancy, Molino Stewart, has put together a resource for the community and industry that will help get more environmental projects off the ground.

If you are involved in a community group, or are you an individual or business with a great project that could help the environment, you could be eligible to apply for one of the hundreds of grants available each year.

Projects that lower greenhouse gas emissions, that conserve places of environmental and heritage value and that use water wisely, are examples of those that have received funding.

With the Australian Green Grants Guide 2006, you'll have access to 160 pages of information about more than 200 grants that are broken down by Australian State and Territory, as well as themes and eligible applicants.

The Guide focuses on grants that relate to seven themes: water, biodiversity, energy, greenhouse, heritage sites, land, waste.
