NCH Australia supporting farmers with Buy a Bale
Following news stories of desolate crops and dying cattle, NCH Australia — a provider of maintenance solutions for industrial facilities — has decided to join others in helping Australia’s farmers through some of the toughest times they have faced in around a decade.
With this autumn being the fourth warmest on record in Australia, with below average rainfall for most of the country according to the Bureau of Meteorology, many parts of Central and Eastern NSW are experiencing 100% drought — not to mention all other territories around the country.
With this in mind, NCH Australia has committed to donating 1% of its sales revenue to Buy a Bale — a registered charity that is providing aid to farming and rural communities in the form of bales of hay for their livestock.
“Everyone needs to come together and help the farmers during this crisis,” said Stephen Scahill, Country Manager for NCH Australia. “I can’t imagine what it must be like to lose a fourth-generation farm, or not be able to put food on the table.”
You can donate directly to Buy a Bale at www.buyabale.com.au or find out more about NCH’s ‘Help us help our farmers’ initiative by emailing marketing.australia@nch.com.
