ALS Water Sciences Group joins GHD
The Water Sciences Group (WSG) of Australian Laboratory Services (ALS) has joined engineering, architecture and environmental consulting company GHD. WSG is a consultant in catchment management, ecological assessment, drinking-water quality, water re-use and environmental management.
Commenting on the merger, Canberra OCM Rob Knott said, “We’re pleased to welcome the people from WSG into our team - our strengthened offering showcases a blend of local and global perspectives for solutions to water, environment and associated infrastructure challenges.”
The merger strengthens GHD’s position as a consultant of choice in the development of integrated water and environmental management solutions that address regulatory and operational objectives in diverse environments. The company’s network of professionals collaborates to deliver sustainable outcomes to communities and clients in the global markets of water, energy and resources, environment, property and buildings, and transportation.
GHD was established in 1928 and employs more than 6500 people across five continents.
