Boundary Power Solar Qube standalone power system
Boundary Power, a joint venture by Ampcontrol and Horizon Power, delivers the Solar Qube standalone power system. Designed to replace traditional powerlines with an off-grid and reliable clean energy source, the scalable solution can be deployed quickly and transported efficiently.
The clean power solution includes a range of features including: workshop assembled and commissioned; pre-assembled SAPS Gen 2 is deployed and ready for energy export in just 90 min; cost-effective swappable module components; and remote monitoring and control of system to lower operational and maintenance costs.
Standard specifications include: 26.5 kW single phase consisting of 15 kW generator supply, 7.5 kW battery supply, 4 kW solar supply at 25°C; 4 kW solar array, consisting of 10 high-density 400 W panels; 16 kWh battery energy storage; 8 kW battery inverter 60 min standalone rating; and 7.5 kW battery inverter continuous standalone rating.
The footprint transported is 3 x 2.44 m (standard 10 ft shipping container) and installed is 5 x 7.1 m.
Commercial and industrial applications include: emergency service, utility, mining, farming, tourism and remote communities.
Solar Qube SAPS has been awarded a 2021 Good Design Award for ‘Engineering Design’ and a 2021 Hunter Manufacturing Award for ‘Excellence in Product Design’.
