Yingli Solar appoints sales and business manager in Australia
Yingli Green Energy, the vertically integrated photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturer known as Yingli Solar, has announced the appointment of Mark Kibby in a newly created role as its sales and business manager in Australia.
Kibby brings over 15 years of experience in retail energy, six years of these in the renewable energy industry. He was formerly a business development manager at AEG Power Solutions and has also worked with Suntech, Ingenero and Energex.
Based in Sydney, Kibby will be responsible for managing and developing Yingli Solar’s sales strategy and growing its distribution to residential and small-scale commercial sales channels. He will report to Daman Cole, Managing Director of Yingli Green Energy Australia, and will assist him in developing relationships to expand Yingli Solar’s presence in utility-scale and downstream projects.
“We are delighted to welcome Mark to our team,” said Cole. “His background and experience in utility and downstream solar projects will allow Yingli Solar to increase our focus in targeting these segments, as we continue to grow our business in the residential and commercial markets.”
Yingli Solar has also appointed Max Dahlbom as its Customer Service Manager.
