Schneider Electric announces two global solar project wins
The solar business of Schneider Electric has announced two recent major project wins in Thailand and France.
In Thailand, Schneider Electric’s solar business has been selected by Soleq to conduct work on five PV power plants amounting to 48 MW. The company has supplied an integrated solution that covers the entire electrical balance of system for these five power plants, enabling Soleq to reduce construction lead times, lower the costs of installation and commissioning, and enhance uptime.
In France, Schneider Electric has also provided the electrical balance of system for 85 MW of solar power plants in 10 different regions. Schneider Electric was present during all phases of the project for all 10 plants, from the planning and design of the offer for the different power plants to the delivery and assembly of the different solution bricks on-site.
French power producer Solairedirect developed the projects and acted as the EPC contractor for both. Operation Manager Olivier Grenesche said the company “chose Schneider Electric for the performance of their inverters, their integrated PV Box power stations and their capability to deliver equipment as scheduled, which were crucial to meet our objectives.”
Schneider Electric will demonstrate its solar business solutions at Clean Energy Week, to be held in Brisbane from 24-26 July.
