Clean Energy Council partners with All-Energy Australia

Wednesday, 17 December, 2014

The Clean Energy Council will merge its national solar conference with renewables event All-Energy Australia in October 2015. According to Clean Energy Council Chief Executive Kane Thornton, the strategic partnership has been formed to create a massive single event that will deliver scale and quality for the renewable energy sector.

While the Clean Energy Council will run a separate conference in July, with a focus on policy and finance, the expert technical program and solar professional development components from its ATRAA conference will be added to All-Energy Australia in October, along with the full support of the renewable energy industry’s peak body. Thornton said these sessions will be provided free of charge at the event to ensure even greater opportunity for solar installers and renewable energy representatives to learn and network. The ATRAA dinner will meanwhile take place on the final day of All-Energy Australia.

“As the industry faces uncertainty with the RET review, a partnership seemed the obvious way forward to ensure the same business opportunities are available without the pressure on the industry,” explained All-Energy Australia Director Anthony Reed.

“This combined industry conference and exhibition will continue to help the industry grow and develop. Together with the Clean Energy Council, we want to support the industry by providing all the benefits of both events in one.”

The combined event will be held from 7-8 October 2015 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Demand is expected to be very high, so sponsors and exhibitors are encouraged to book early.
